Understanding Cultural Differences in Social Technologies

Syllabus and Course Information

Social technologies refer to any technology that is used to a group of people. In the past 5 years or so online social technologies have spurred numerous innovations in business practices and communication models. In this course we will review existing online social technologies (such as Amazon’s Mechnical Turk, Wikipedia, AppStore) and their likelihood of adoption in different cultures.
